TCP/IP Ports used by Citrix XenApp-

Default port	Used for-
80	Port is used by client/plug-ins using TCP+HTTP to communicate with servers
443	Port is used by SSL Relay to secure communications between the Web Interface and Citrix Server Farm
1433	This port is used by the server to communicate with SQL database
1494	Port is used by clients/plug-ins using TCP to communicate with server (must be opened for ICA to work properly)
1521	This port is used by the server to communicate with Oracle database
2512	Port is used for server to server communications within the Citrix Farm
2513	This port is used for AppCenter  ( Formerly XenApp Advanced Configuration tool) communications
2598	Port is used for Session Reliability
7279	Port is used by Citrix vendor daemon to relay licensing communications between XenApp and the Citrix Licensing Server
8082	Port is used for communication with Citrix License Management Console
27000	Port is used by Citrix License Managemer daemon, which handles initial contact with Citrix XenApp Server that in turn passes the connection to the Citrix Vendor daemon.

Citrix XenApp Architecture

The Citrix XenApp architecture consists of, at a minimum, the following components:

• Licensing Server – Required for all XenApp deployments.

• Data Store – Database where information is stored, such as configuration information for published applications, users, printers, and servers.

• Data Collector – Maintains information such as license usage, session status, server loads, users connected, and published applications.

• Web Interface – Required when users access applications using the online plug-in or a web browser.

• XML Service and Broker – Intermediary between the web interface and the XenApp servers.

• Application Servers – Hosts the published applications to which users connect.
